My Name is Martin The Magician and I’m a full time professional Magician who specialises in Children’s, Close Up and Walk Around Magic Shows in the North East and Dublin area.
You’ll find me performing in Dublin, Drogheda, Dundalk, Navan, Kells, Dunboyne and Dunshaughlin and I often make appearances up as far as Cavan and Monaghan.
In addition to parties and events you’ll also find me performing at corporate functions, weddings, restaurant, night clubs and store opening’s etc.
For larger shows I also provide a sound system and a back drop meaning larger audiences in shopping centres, schools, libraries and open air festivals don’t miss a thing.

The Kids Show
Magic for the Modern Child
Let’s face it, organising your kids birthday party can be quite a challenge. The food is the easy bit, but get the entertainment wrong and you’re in for a tough time. I provide Magic for the modern child. Understanding that today’s child has a different world than that of their parents has helped me to create a modern, fast paced show. Built on the foundations of good old slap stick and comedy but given an upbeat twist with music and sound effects, the show engages and encourages all the children to take part and have a really special party.What’s in the Show?
With the help of my two magical friends, Snowy the Rabbit and Felix the invisible Fly, I will take your kids a journey of wonder, packed full of surprises, during my one hour show. To squeals of delight from my young audience, things change place, vanish, reappear and grow in size in a manner that’s guaranteed to bring laughter and smiles to the faces of all who see me perform. My family magic show plays from three to twelve year old’s and for the adults as well. The show plays on two levels, entertaining the adults with some cool magic and hilarious sight gags with funny props. This keeps the adults interested and gives the show a more rounded feel. Many adults say that they enjoy the show as much as the kids. This show is ideal for communions and confirmations, wedding’s, christening’s, in fact any family gathering.The Props
Everything from a colouring book to rubber chickens, handcuffs, lipstick and even a dancing frog. Well not quite a dancing frog. I have invented an array of gadget’s and gizmo’s which will fascinate and entertain the kids throughout my show.The Balloons
Backed up with some seriously good balloon modelling skills, I’ll decorate the special child of the day with an array of balloon models, from Teddy bears in hearts to Dracula and Mr Smiley to a whole host of colourful balloon hats. I’ll also ensure that every child receives a balloon model before the show ends. All of this takes place to the happy beat of some up tempo music which encourages the children to get up and dance, before the show comes to an end with a loud cheer for the birthday child.Get in Touch

The Grown Up's Show
As well as Children’s magic shows, I also perform Close Up and Walk Around magic for all corporate functions, wedding’s, restaurant and night clubs, store opening’s etc.
My style of mix and mingle magic ensures your party guests get to know each other in a relaxed manner and is the ideal ice breaker.
My upbeat style ensures that no one will switch off whilst I’m performing. My close up magic is visually stunning and mostly takes place in the spectators own hands.
My close up tricks are beefed up with some very funny one liners which make for some hilarious routines with my volunteers.
Watch in amazement as a five euro note changes into a twenty euro note and then folds itself into quarters right before your eyes!
Coins appear, grow in size, disappear and reappear in all manner of places.
My comedy mind reading is suitable for all types of social gatherings and corporate events.

About Me
I have been practicing the Art of Magic for the past 25 years. During that time I have performed for both Children and Adults, travelling four times to Belarus in Western Russia to perform shows for the orphaned children there.
Through my love of magic and my knowledge of German, I have performed Walk Around and Close Up magic at the Medieval Fair in Erfurt, Germany and for the past eleven years have entertained annually at the Summer Festivals throughout the Austrian Tirol region.
I have also travelled to Kenya to present my magic to the people of Kibera, home to over one million of the world’s poorest people.
I am a member of the Society of Irish Magicians. Apart from performing Magic I am an accomplished Balloon Modeller and I’m constantly updating my skills and am in demand for Window Displays & Exhibition Work.
